Power soccer players play on a hard court

Vermont Chargers Post 2-1 Weekend

Our Vermont Chargers played hard in their final games of 2018! Here’s a recap from Nate Besio:

“What a great day of power soccer for the Vermont Chargers! Special thanks goes out to the Boston Brakers for hosting a very busy and very large tournament. We had a great time.

We started our day with a strong performance against the Baystate Falcons. We largely controlled to the field, took the lead early and never looked back on our way to a 3-1 victory.

After a quick lunch break, we squared off with the host Boston Brakers. Boston jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, but we didn’t cave in and played them tough the rest of the way. Although we dropped that game 5-2, it was a solid performance against a high quality opponent.

Finally, we wrapped up the day with a rematch against the Northeast Passage Power Cats. Again, the Chargers were able to largely control the field of play, and we ended up coming away with a 2-0 victory.

In what will be our final games of 2018, we were very happy with the results, and we are looking forward to a very exciting 2019! Thank you all for your support so far!”
